Blending adventure and innovation without limits.

Picture this:

A sailing world buzzing with adventure, where every journey fuels a rush without harming our oceans. That's our vision, redefining cruising adventure with responsibility & thrill in equal measure.

We exist to share the ultimate modern adventure. A journey to build a boat that leaves only positive impacts behind & realise the way to destinations unheard of without diesel power.

We're dedicated to harnessing our creativity, skills & passion to build a platform & help set a new standard for the future of adventure, relying purely on nature!

Adventurer and Shipwright

  • From big wall climbing to building custom bikes for multi continent racing, my goal has always been to push myself and my gear as far as possible.

Being a Shipwright and an avid sailor, 2019 saw the lead up to a sailing circumnavigation until I suffered a life changing injury. Not for the first time I was presented with a spinal cord injury (yep, from mountain biking), but this time things were different. With a long awaited circumnavigation abruptly halted, Jenni and I progressed into a new world, a world of self-worth and reason.

It was here I realised I wanted to make a difference in the outdoor world we loved so much and the SailZero Project was born.

Obsessed with boats & tech, I’m tuning my geeky habits into a the perfect challenge; a boat-build where I can chew on tech, materials and mechanics for breakfast, lunch and diner with of course a steady flow of British tea!

It’s the collaboration and unity of The SailZero Project that is the best feeling for me. To sail from the Arctic to the Equator and prove sustainable sailing is simply the most awesome adventure and of course, I cant wait to be a part of it! Although as difficult as it is, due to my spinal injury I have come to accept that I may not be able to be on board. However one thing is for sure, in my mind I’m going, and with Jenni in charge of my rehab my personal goal is not only to be there, but to lead the voyage as skipper.

  • Reserved yet wild at heart. I have a wanderlust, where adventure feeds my curiosity.

I’m no adrenalin junkie although I definitely need to live a life filled with adventure. Over the years it’s this that has made me realise that variety is my “spice of life” and nothing beats the rhythm of nature.

I thrive on keeping life on track and find myself squirming into action when things aren’t rocking and rolling as I’d like.

With a passion to make even one degree of change for the better in our oceans, I’ve been inspired by Emily Penn and the documentary platform Waterbear. That’s why I channeled my creativity towards videography and storytelling.

Our dream and mission is more than a boat, it’s to share our story. The boat build, the sailing, the physical and mental preparations we take on as we both push our boundaries. With the gumption (I’ve loved that word since watching “The Holiday”) and determination true to my Taurus traits I’m on a mission to make this the ride of a lifetime for myself and to get Chris on an adventurous pathway to recovery for our/his biggest adventure yet. Yew!
